What is an eSIM

🌍 Not sure how eSIMs work?

We'll break it down — simple, smart, and built for global travellers.

What is an eSIM?

An eSIM is a digital version of the SIM card — but built into your phone. Instead of inserting anything, you just download a mobile plan.

It's especially useful when traveling, since it helps you avoid roaming charges without changing your physical SIM.

Who are eSIMs for?

To find out if your device supports eSIM, follow the steps below:

iPhone (iOS)

Go to:

Settings > General > About

If you see “Digital SIM” or “eSIM”, your device is eSIM-enabled. Most iPhones support eSIM.

Samsung

Go to:

Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager

If you see “Add Mobile Plan”, your device supports eSIM.

Huawei

Go to:

Settings > About phone > Show EID

If EID information appears, the device is eSIM-enabled.

Other Android Devices

Dial *#06# and press call.

If you see an “EID” number, your device supports eSIM.

How do I know if my device is unlocked?

Go to:

Settings > General > About

👉 Look for “Carrier Lock”

If it says “No SIM restrictions”, your iPhone is unlocked.

Why this matters:

Only unlocked devices can use eSIM plans from different carriers. If you're unsure, reach out to your provider to be sure.

How our Plans Work

Think of your data plan like a travel ticket — it's valid for a set number of days, and you decide when the trip begins.

Validity Period

Every plan comes with a validity period
(e.g. 7, or 30 days).
This defines how long you can use the data once for the plan starts.

When does it start?

When you install it on your device or when you arrive at your destination (depending on the provider)
